About Our Group
Addi, Marco, and Raphael are three students at Windward Middle and Upper School. The three students worked together in a group participating in Windward's 2019 Challenge Based Learning Program, which is essentially a science based program that enables students to identify a specific problem in the community and design and develop a solution that aids the problem. The program also pushes the students to interact and learn from experts and professionals, research existing solutions, develop inventive ideas and concepts, and work through obstacles and adversity. The actual implementation component that CBL promotes inspires a purely compassionate and empathic motive within the students, and pushes them to think about people in this world who don't have the opportunities we take for granted every single day. Although these three teens are mere 7th graders, they are takeling and conquering a substantial problem in their community...
